1. Tulip Festival

21 March – 12 May 2024

One of the first things that come into our mind thinking about the Netherlands is definitely the endless tulip fields (and the windmills of course). Springtime in the Netherlands means it is the time for the iconic Tulip Festival, a celebration of the colourful bloom of these flowers all over the country. From March to May, visitors can immerse themselves in the wonders of the tulip season at various locations, including the world-famous Keukenhof Gardens and the Flower Parade on 20 April. Tulip Festival offers an unforgettable experience that captures the essence of Dutch springtime.

2. King's Day (Koningsdag)

27 April 2024

On 27 April, the Netherlands turns into a sea of orange as the nation celebrates King's Day, one of the most anticipated events of the year. Join millions of Dutchies in celebrating the birthday of King Willem-Alexander with a day filled with, music, dancing and attend flea markets and fun fairs. Dance to live music performances, try delicious street food, and immerse yourself in the energy of the celebrations all across the country. Don’t forget to wear something orange!

3. Dutch Beer Week (Week van het Nederlandse Bier)

23-26 May 2024

Raise a glass to Dutch brewing heritage during the Week of Dutch Beer, a celebration of the most popular drink in the country and its traditions. In May, breweries across the Netherlands open their doors to beer lovers, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the art of brewing. 4. Amsterdam Art Week

5. Holland Festival
