It's simple: You provide us with your details and, based on your data, we will email you a voucher prior to your arrival date (we send these vouchers 5 day before your arrival date and this email might appear in your spam folder). You will need to redeem this voucher on the
NS website. We recommend doing this once you know the exact date you will travel from Schiphol Airport to Rotterdam (or The Hague). We also recommend downloading the NS app in which you can see the train schedules and also into which you can easily load your train ticket. If you are travelling to the Hague, then on the NS website select the end destination Rotterdam Centraal and just get off in The Hague.
Only students who have registered via the Erasmus "Free airport train tickets" receive a maximum of one voucher. Once you have turned your voucher into an NS ticket it is unchangeable. We will not provide you with another voucher, so please make sure you make the right booking on the NS website using the voucher code provided by Studentmobility.
Furthermore, we'll email you customised information relevant to the stage you're in, whether that be prior to or after your arrival in the Netherlands. Concerning topics such as travelling to and within your new Dutch city, finding a student job and opening a bank account, we'll make sure that all practicalities are clearly explained to you.
